The Body Extended is a style story from photographer Zeliha Cambaz and stylist Sophia Schwan, designed to honour German model Mario Galla, who was born with one leg shorter than the other and was forced to wear a prosthesis. The Body Extended aims to blur the lines between artificial limbs and the human body, considering margins and edges of the body as spaces of inspiration and creative richness.

The concepts of naturalness and organicity are approached in a playful, positive manner; the story is shot in analogue mode and placed in a space heavy with history, as an attempt from Cambaz to veer away from the stereotypical futuristic cyborg image attached to humans with prosthetic limbs.
