Safe in my Garden explores the moods and shapes of freedom when crossing into a space of purity, organic beauty, and lavish lifeforms.
Borrowing from the romantic connotations of the garden trope, the story allows equal weight to the subject and the environment, suggesting the close connection between the two. The garden is a corner of the wild in the midst of constructed space, which makes its borders important in thinking about and engaging with surrounding space.
