I looked towards the unwanted, the once ugly and rejected. I found it funny how an item can steal the focus of a full collection. This time, it was Christopher Kane's Crocs. The judged, the shamed, the undesirable now adorned with crystal: the shine that enchants, glamour forced upon the never-glamorous.

I looked towards adaptation, borrowed forms, and recycled ideas; these creative choices in fashion that are questioned every season, their legitimacy challenged, as they attempt to have the discarded resurface.

I looked towards the appropriated, thrown under the spotlight, elevated to new, albeit short, glory. Everything seemed new to the eye, whether it´s been already seen or not.
