From Photographer Paola Vivas and Stylist Raul Castilla comes Les Incroyables from the Wild, a visual narrative built as a progression of the character from fragility to strength, from innocence to maturity. Soft, translucent fabrics, basking in a pleasant light and tranquil tones are visual markers of an unthreatening self, which, paralleled by an underlying darkness, define the imminent transformation of the character, the descent into a wild version of herself.
Applying baroque aesthetics to a postmodern mental and emotional dispositions, the story touches on the inherent exuberance of youth, exploring the tension between the simplicity of gesture and the grandeur of thought.
