Exploring voyeuristic themes, Geraghty pushes stylistic influence from Russian photographer Nikolay Bakharev. Born in 1946, Mikhailovka, Russia, Bakharev was an orphan and worked as a mechanic until he learned photography, gaining critical success as a "beach photographer”. Bakharev carefully arranged his subjects into compelling poses in which the physical contact is erotically charged, and at the same time displays vulnerability and elegance.
